In a hurry? Here are three key resources to help get you started:

Help Families Understand i-Ready

By understanding the purpose and structure of the i-Ready Diagnostic and Online Instruction, families can be empowered to support their student’s learning. Teachers can explain how the Diagnostic works and how students are placed within a personalized instructional pathway by sending home a letter to families or hosting a family night at the school.

Share Diagnostic Data with Families

When you approach families as partners, you can help support your students’ learning so much more. To make families part of the goals and growth conversations you have with your students, take the time to share student Diagnostic data with family members and discuss ways to support learning at home.

Give Families Tools to Support Online Instruction

Beyond understanding i-Ready and their students’ data, providing families with tools to support Online Instruction is also helpful. Teachers can offer self-reflection templates and progress tracking sheets for families to use with their children at home.
